The tile itself is a detector, not a valve. But it can be paired with a compatible water shutoff valve and configured so “water detected” triggers “water off” automatically.
Q: Where should I place the Water Tile for best results?
Place it where water will show up first: under sinks, behind toilets, near dishwashers or ice machines, beside water heaters, near sump areas, or in mechanical rooms at low points.
Q: How is this different from a regular flood sensor?
The Water Tile is low-profile, so it fits in tight areas where bulky sensors get bumped, moved, or never installed properly. It’s designed for the “leak source” zone.
